Aciturri Aeroengines has delivered the first HUB 814 for the PurePower PW814 engine of Pratt & Whitney Canada. This is the bearing support of the motor shaft, which Aciturri supplies to the subsidiary of Rolls Royce ITP Aero, partner at risk of the PW800 project and responsible for the design and manufacture of the Booster and MTF (Mid Turbine Frame modules).

Aciturri has achieved with this delivery the demanding and complex industrialization of this component, one of the most technical among those developed at the Aeroengines Ircio plant, which includes bonding technologies, forming processes and very specific functional tests.

Thus, the company joins to the supply chain of one of the main programs of the jet engines sector such as the PW814, which powers the new business aircraft Gulfstream G500 and G600, market´s leaders in the medium-long scope segment.
In addition to the HUB, throughout 2018 will be delivered more components for all versions of PW800, whose industrialization will be carried out at the facilities of Aciturri in Orón and Berantevilla.
