Delta flight 278 from Osaka Japan to Honolulu landed safely at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport after a “potential mechanical issue” this weekend.
In a statement, Delta confirmed that flight 278 landed in Honolulu and was towed to the gate out of an abundance of caution due to “a potential mechanical issue following landing. Customers deplaned without incident and maintenance technicians are reviewing the aircraft.”
No injuries were reported. The FAA is investigating.
